Over analysis leads to paralysis
Imagine you want to cut a potato. Cutting a potato is like analysis. You cut the potato into a shape suitable for a specific purpose, lets say making french fries. You cut the potato and then are bit disappointed with your cut. You want to analyse in another way and hence give it another cut. Disappointment again gets the better of you and you give it yet another cut and so on. Welcome to the world of over analysis. With so many cuts, the french fries can wait. All you have got is mashed potato. Similarly overanalysis will not give you a direction. It will delay to begin with making you pay an opportunity cost. Secondly you will not get a specific way forward ( rather you will be presented with few options to think about and get confused ). Desist over dependance of left brain thinking. Give intuition and feel based on simple cuts and insights a chance to show you the way
