When 27/11 happened we all spoke of nationalism. Less than 2 months have passed and we are already seeing how united we are. Do we care for anything. The politician wants his position and perks at any cost. They speak something and practice something else. And the stupid people are blind to everything happening around them. Is it naivety or utter stupidity? Then again there are these so called cultural gurus who beat our women black and blue. Wonder which culture taught them to beat women. If Hinduism preached this I cease to be one from this very moment. How low have we sank. Where is governance? If these toughies have so much brawn then where were they when Kasab and his ilk conquered us for those three days. Why did they not flex their muscles then? Or their might is limited to beating women, children and other innocents. How can one stoop so low. How is god bearing all this? Why does he not intervene and punish these perpetrators of crime and atrocity? I often wonder. I often get mad. I often feel cornered. Who will govern us? Who will protect us? Why are politicians hungry for power? Nothing can last forever. Finally all of us will march to the grave. Then why so much love for power? For once. For once and just once, why cant politicians do the work they are meant to. Thank God for the blog that I can unload all that is within. Small mercies for the times when time is running out.
