Elections are round the corner. Again we have to choose? How I wish our politicians would have given us reasons to choose them. Political parties are bereft of an agenda. The only agenda they have is bashing of the incumbent. Finding faults is the only thing on their minds. And some times re-visiting some old worn out agenda. The BJP either talks about the failure of the present government or the Ram mandir issue. They are even blaming the Indian government for the current economic misery. I wonder what would they have done had they been in power? They are not even talking about what they would have done. What is on their lips is the inability of the Indian government to save the situation here and now. If the government could really change the situation then I am sure even the likes of an Obama would have been in India taking lessons. The Left too has little other than government bashing on their plates. The NCP is hoping that Sharad Pawar becomes the PM. The man who is perhaps in his last leg should instead retire and let go of his ambition. Same is the case with Mr L.K. Advani. I wonder whether he even remembers things at this age. How can he lead this country of a billion. At 80+ he should be preparing his end game but seems focused on the chair instead. As if that is the only ambition left on behalf of the electorate. The Right wing politicians are hell bent upon protecting our culture. Our forefathers would be turning in the graves. After all they would have never seen this kind of follower ship in the life time. I wonder whether our prosperity will be ensured by their interpretation of Indian culture. Is it even important to us? Is this so important and the only thing for our country. As if we do not have any other problem. Such un professional players on the bench that we are left with little to do during elections. I am simply disgusted but that does not mean I will not step out to cast my vote. After all their will be a lesser devil in a world full of them. And let us vote him in and allow the least damage to get inflicted on us. I would also urge all to vote and save us from those who can make things still worse for us.
