If people think that women are being oppressed in the Kashmir valley, they need to see all that was being played out on the floor of their assembly just a few days back.
First the woman Mehmooba Mufti charged into the well of the house and then she uprooted the mike that poor old speaker was using to bring some calm to the house.
When this did not create the drama and effect that she had aspired for, she took another leap by indulging in the character assassination of Omar Abdula by linking with some sex scandal.
While the speaker looked helpless and was left fuming, Omar was simply inconsolable.
If rulers behave like terrorists then the latter have no option but to develop even more potent ways of making a difference to society.
It is indeed a matte of shame that such behavior happens in the temple of government.
