Yesterday, Sonia Gandhi travelled by economy class. Another day Sharad Pawar squeezed into an economy class seat.
All this plain humbug in the name of austerity. Who has asked them to enact this drama? Why are they making such big issue of all this.
The citizens of this nation are enduring bigger hardships day in and day out than what these politicos can even imagine. Whom are they trying to fool?
They are simply making a mockery of the man on the street. If they really want to practice austerity, let them disband their security. Let them curtail the cavalcade.
Just yesterday I saw more than 30 cars making up her cavalcade. Having spent for all this , how much would it help for us to have her sacrifice her business class seat.
At least the beleaguered airline industry would get some respite through the stimuli of ministerial travel. Well in any case it is hard to believe that all that is being said is true. It does not take much to imagine how a business class passenger would insist that his seat be exchanged with the politician for that invaluable goodwill.
How on earth can I travel in business class with Soniaji in economy. Nah! yeh ho hi nahi sakta hai he will say.
